Special guest, Beejhy Barhany, an Ethiopian-born, Israeli-raised chef and activist who has lived in Harlem for more than 20 years. Owner of Tsion Cafe, a vegan kosher Ethiopian restaurant, Beejhy is also the founder of the Beta Israel of North America Cultural Foundation (BINA). This non-profit works to showcase the culture of Ethiopian Jews and all Jews of Color.
